Ricardo Pierre-Louis headshot


Ricardo Pierre-Louis is a Chicago-based writer working on his debut novel, Cuzzo, a story about a young man falling in love with another at his family reunion. His work has been developed under the guidance of both Lindsay Hunter (Story Studio's Novel In a Year program) and Deesha Philyaw (Storyboard Conference '25).

In 2023, he self-published his debut anthology, Computer Love which has been called

"A compilation of poetic, earnest, and arresting tales" by Kirkus Reviews and

"A heartfelt and fascinating collection of eight short stories that gently explore loss, loneliness, and love" by Indie Reader.

Outside of writing fiction he splits his time between volunteering at his local library, advocating for others, and riding his bike.
